Hey everyone, sorry for the light posting the last few days. My posting will continue to be fairly sporadic for the next week. A few miscellaneous items:
- Carnival of the Liberals #22 is up at Writings On The Wall.
- I continue to update the 2006 Michigan Election Candidates page when I find new campaign websites. Let me know if I’m missing any.
- I just added supporting and opposing organizations to the 2006 Michigan Election Ballot Proposals page. Again, if I’m missing any please let me know in the comments.
- I just found an analysis of the ballot proposals in Michigan at the Citizens Research Council of Michigan. Just so you know I haven’t read the analyses yet and I don’t know anything about the CRC. I thought some of you might be interested in their analysis.
- Work on the FOP Haunted House continues and it’ll be opening in Fremont on October 6th. I might post pictures later on.
More on the Baylor Religion Study September 25, 2006

I blogged about the Baylor study on religion a couple of weeks ago. Ebonmuse reviewed the study and doesn’t believe that it conflicts with earlier studies. Also see this post (linked in Ebonmuse’s post) at Beware of the Dogma where they take a closer look and come up with some criticisms of the study.

What a game! Notre Dame beat MSU 40-37.
MSU played great until the second half and then ND stepped it up and took the lead in the final minutes. I really thought MSU had it in the bag. Maybe next week.

New Hominid Fossil! September 20, 2006
Posted by Jason in Science.3 comments
A new hominid fossil has been discovered in Ethiopia. PZ Myers and Jason Rosenhouse have the details.
Jason Felton is a homo sapien in his mid-20s observed to be living in west Michigan. Observations suggest that he spends way too much time on the internet reading blogs, researching family trees, and keeping track of current events in science and politics. Other interests of his include atheism, electronics, religion, and history, among many other things.
