Check out http://www.MichiganVoterPower.org for statewide Voter Guide with candidate information (short bios, Q & A) and ballot proposals (ballot language, pro & cons). Provided as a public service by the League of Women Voters of Michigan.

4. Alecia - October 22, 2006

Thanks, this website was very helpful. It’s almost impossible to be an informed voter when information on the candidates is nowhere to be found!

5. Louise - October 27, 2006

Great to have a website where we can find the info on candidates to be informed voters!

6. Vince - October 31, 2006

Jason – this is a really impressive list. I run a non-profit organization called Publius.org that does online voter education in Michigan. We put up sample ballots and links to campaign websites through a voter file lookup (see the ballot your going to be facing at the polls). Drop me a line sometime. As of today we have most (95%) of the sample ballots in MI online – complete down to village proposals, etc. In the 10 years we’ve been doing Publius your list is one of the most comprehensive independent efforts I’ve seen.

Here’s one for your collection: http://www.andrewmclemore4waynestate.com.

7. Debbie Johnson - November 1, 2006

I found this website very helpful in making decisions on whom to vote for.

8. Ryan - November 6, 2006

Just vote Republican, except for Govenor.

9. Antibush - February 16, 2007

Bush is forever saying that democracies do not invade other countries and start wars. Well, he did just that. He invaded Iraq, started a war, and killed people. What do you think? Is killing thousands of innocent civilians okay when you are doing a little government makeover?
Our country is in debt until forever, we don’t have jobs, and we live in fear. We have invaded a country and been responsible for thousands of deaths.
We have lost friends and influenced no one. No wonder most of the world thinks we suck. Thanks to what george bush has done to our country during the past three years, we do!
